On blackest night the Babe was born
Amidst dancing shadows far away
That first breath, a single cry
Early dawn, a brand new day
Joyful tears, gasps of relief
Seen on humble mother’s face
One first hug, one first kiss
Early dawn, a brand new day
Years go by, glad tidings cease
To piercing sword give way
O precious child, with cross now nigh
Darkness clouds once-festive day
Thus blackest night that Babe did die
Amidst taunting shadows far away
A final breath, a single cry
Giving way, a brand new day
On Blackest Night

That helps….how long if they had to travel to N.Moorhead??? Just wondering if they have arrived from their long journey, heard they got separated on the long trip.
Hi Pam . . .
That’s a great question, and Ezra 7:8-9 provides at least one helpful answer. In these verses we find the ancient priest Ezra taking what would be a nearly identical route from Babylon to the vicinity of Jerusalem as the wise men would have taken. It took about 120 days, or four months. “For on the first day of the first month he began to go up from Babylonia, and on the first day of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem” (verse 9). I hope that helps!

The wisemen traveled for monthes and after a long 13 month journey they found where Jesus was living. Or How long do you thing they actually traveled?
