Nothing so Strong As Gentleness
If your leadership is marked by gentleness and a mild spirit, take heart—it is not weakness. Though some may dismiss such a posture, remember that Jesus described Himself as “gentle and lowly in heart” (Matt. 11:29), inviting us to learn from Him. The Apostle Paul instructed Timothy and Titus to lead with gentleness, avoiding quarrels and correcting with kindness, even in spiritual battles. This strength of posture reflects true courage. As St. Francis de Sales said, “Nothing is so strong as gentleness.” So to all who lead with gentle strength—do not lose heart. Yours is a Christ-like way. Stay faithful.
