History Has Turned a Corner

Luke 2:11 announces that history has turned a corner: God has stepped into our world as a Savior who rescues us, a Messiah who fulfills every promise, and a Lord who claims our ultimate allegiance. It means our deepest guilt is forgiven, our longings are named and met, and our ordinary lives are forever dignified by God’s nearness. From that night on, no darkness is final, no life is insignificant, and no future is without hope.
