As I read through the notes after listening to the sermon this Sunday from last weeks message it struck me how this story is a living example of the attacks we are subject to currently against Christians-our life and His message.
First doubters attack the message as explained in the infiltration of Judaizers and their poisoning of Paul’s Gospel. When that doesn’t work, then the current world will attack our credibility as Christians–in the realm of, “what gives you the right to say__ or think___.
And when we are unshaken in our message of salvation they attack the result. They call it ‘coincidence’ or ‘neat’ or ‘ironic’ or take/label worldly credit of His supernatural will.
