Lessons from Korah’s Kin

Korah’s descendants inherited a painful legacy of rebellion (see Numbers 16), but through their psalms, they offer timeless wisdom. In Psalm 84:5–7, they show that godly leaders draw strength from the Lord, orient their hearts toward His purposes, bring hope into hurting places, and humbly submit to greater authority. These principles—dependence on God, spiritual alignment, courageous compassion, and accountability—shape leaders who bless rather than harm. The sons of Korah, marked by their ancestor’s failure, became models of redemptive leadership. Their legacy reminds us that we can lead well, not by power or ego, but by surrendering to God and walking in humility.
